Take hold of this time

box now for eating
birds and leaves showing
pencil decisions
mother unwiring

zoom-link with China

parsnips and pasta
glove in the gutter
erase and restructure
why this disaster?

all join and breakout

cumin and lemon
smile and stay distant
shaving the seconds
try hours to fathom

grid-locked together

stirred to perfection
the world in full vision
lost in the rhythm
surely a daughter?

take hold of this time
