Look

This room is grey
Even with my eyes fast closed
It is too small for colour.
Yet bold, insistent
Insolently red
The Robin on my sill
Sings for breakfast
Calls me to the green and blue
The colours of my garden,
Vibrant within my small horizon.

Sun shines through leaves

Reflections, shape, morning

Mirror in long grass reflecting clouds in blue sky

Still unfeeling

Striped beach parasol against blue sky

A Parasol's Lament
